Our story isn't a corporate history — it's a family of people who know jewelry, passed down through the generations, and brought straight to the counter for you.
Knowledge passed down.
The roots go back to Grandpa Jesse, who entered the jewelry world after World War II as a fine-watch salesman serving jewelry stores in the Northeast. He was known not just for what he sold, but for the warmth and trust he built with people.
The family's diamond knowledge carried on through Uncle Shelly, who started as a watch salesman in the Southeast and later worked for a major diamond house, eventually moving into sales management.
David and Jeffrey Harrison then spent about ten years on the road as manufacturers' representatives, selling diamond jewelry to stores across the Southeast.
From the road to Cartersville.
In October 1995, the brothers came off the road and brought their wholesale and manufacturing experience directly to the public by opening Cartersville Jewelry Exchange. In 1998, after three years in business, the store expanded significantly.
Community involvement has been part of the store since its early years — charitable events, fundraisers, and being a neighbor you can count on has always mattered as much as the jewelry.
More recently, Deanna Smith, a longtime store manager and jewelry-industry veteran, joined the ownership team as a partner.
